Risks of Engagement -
Exploring and understanding stress, compassion fatigue, burn out and vicarious (secondary) trauma. Understanding the risks not only of stress and distress but also of loss of spirit and trust in basic goodness
Mindfulness, presence based, emotion-focused and interpersonal wellness-promoting practices
for self and for others involved (personally and professionally). Practices address pre, during and post client encounters as well as specific client populations. Practices also address the reclaiming of connection and trust in meaning, purpose and a deeper sense of shared humanity and self-other compassion.
Workshops include presentations, facilitated discussions and experiential explorations.
