About Me:

Dr. Galia Schechter, CA#23426
Psy.D; MBA

I love the journey of being a human in this body and time, with all its challenges, pain, joy, and awe-inspiring beauty. I am a mother and a partner and together we share a life in the San Francisco Bay area.

I am bi-cultural and have worked and traveled in many countries around the world. My exposure to and appreciation of human differences and similarities across cultures, regions and traditions inspire my life and work.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist and a Buddhist practitioner. I have been practicing as a therapist for nearly 20 years and have a great deal of training and experience in multiple integrative, mind-body modalities.
